MNPS kicks off basketball season with the 29th jamboree and inaugural media day

Basketball student-athletes, coaches and staff on-site for media availabilities ahead of season jamboree.

 

Metro Nashville Public Schools Athletics Department will kick off basketball season with its first ever Basketball Meet and Greet Media Day ahead of its 29th annual basketball Jamboree. Participants will include two female baskeball players and two male basketball players from each high school incorporating all 15 MNPS high schools. The Jamboree will take place Nov.12, 14 and 15.

Media outlets will have the opportunity to speak with coaches as well as student athletes about their plans for the upcoming 2019-2020 basketball season. Basketball season schedules will be provided at the event.

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 7, 6-7 p.m.

  • Where: Martin Professional Development Center 2400 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, TN 37217

Jamboree game schedule:

  • Tuesday, November 12, at East Nashville High School, at 6 p.m.

  • Thursday, November 14, at Pearl-Cohn High School, at 5 p.m.

  • Friday, November 15, at Glencliff High School, at 5 p.m.
