Metro Schools to Host Annual Career Fair for nearly 6,000 Freshmen

District hosts 11th annual career exploration fair to show students what they can be after graduation.


After graduation, MNPS students can chase whatever goals they’ve set for themselves – and the district’s My Future, My Way Career Exploration Fair helps students understand the magnitude of the careers waiting for them on the other side of graduation and how their classes in high school can help them achieve their goals.

The 11th Annual My Future, My Way Career Exploration Fair brings together more than 100 companies across five industries to inspire and educate students. The fair is a part of the nationally recognized Academies of Nashville model, a collection of 36 high school academies that seek to give students hands-on experience and learning in many career fields.

More than 100 local businesses, representing five industries, will be on-site to talk to students about potential career paths. MNPS is hosting this event in partnership with:

  • MNPS Partnership Council
  • PENCIL, and the
  • Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce
